Resources for Businesses Affected by Coronavirus

If your business has been affected by Coronavirus here is a list of resources to help you. Some of these resources are government assistance, private grants and loans, free advertising/marketing and free education or courses given by other businesses that might be of help. Government Assistance

If you’re not already familiar the SBA government website has compiled a great list of government resources that also includes guidelines for compliance. Be sure to also look at your state government website for the most up to date regulations.

Small business and non-profit owners in qualifying states can apply for low-interest loans of up to $2 Million for businesses that have been significantly affected by Coronavirus you can apply at the link below.

Private Grants and Loans

Opportunity Fund

If you’re a woman, person of color or immigrant business owner the Opportunity Fund is gathering funds to give grants and low-interest loans to small businesses. If you haven’t been directly affected and can afford to donate money this organization also takes donations during this time.

Amazon

If you’re located in the Seattle area, Amazon has pledged $5 million for its Neighborhood Small Business Relief Fund for businesses affected by COVID-19.

Restaurant Workers Community Foundation

The Restaurant Workers Community Foundation has compiled information related to grants, financial programs and other resources for restaurants affected by COVID-19.

Free Advertising/Marketing

Facebook

Facebook has committed $100 million in cash grants and ad credits so that businesses can use their services to keep promoting their business and inform the public about any changes to their business.

Yelp has committed $25 million in relief for independent local restaurants and nightlife businesses in the form of free advertisement fees, products and services.
